Due to continual expansion of the busy Service Department, we are looking to add to our dedicated team of home-based Field Service Engineers.
We are looking for an experienced Autoclave Engineer to further complement our support of our loyal customers and would like to speak to you if you are enthusiastic, dedicated, customer focused, proactive and flexible.
This role will involve Routine Preventive Maintenance, Fault Finding and Repair of our full range of Autoclaves as well as Calibration and Validation in accordance with UKAS17025 on a regular basis. Additionally, there will also be tasks such as Installation of new equipment, Commissioning and Operator Training customers, covering the full range of autoclaves manufactured by the company.
The candidate should have in-field experience with electrical systems, PLC controllers and pneumatics. Industry (Autoclave / Boiler) experience as a mobile Service Engineer along with validation experience would be a definite advantage.
The candidate will need to be self-motivated with excellent customer service skills, personal time management and possess the ability to work alone and proud to maintain high standard.
The role will primarily be covering the west and south west of the UK (including South Wales) as well as Somerset, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Devon, Cornwall with occasional trips to Birmingham and the North to cover holidays and sick leave. Flexibility to support periods away from home for Installations / validation and other technical assistance should be expected across the UK. Travel abroad may also be necessary from time to time.
A qualification to HNC, HND or Degree level in a mechanical/electrical engineering discipline would be advantageous as well as experience within similar roles.
A current driving licence and a full passport are essential requirements of this role.
