Field Service Engineer

Key Purpose Of The Role  

To be responsible for the service, maintenance & repair  to the agreed specification that meet the required quality and health and safety standards of new and refurbished waste handling machinery and any ancillary equipment.

 

Responsiblities 

  1. Liaise with Account Managers to ensure all required information has been received to ensure allocated work can take place
  2. Attend site-visits as issued by the Account Managers to carry out the required work on new and refurbished machinery and any ancillary equipment
  3. Carry all relevant equipment to ensure effective work can take place, for instance, cabling, guide rails, bolts
  4. Conduct on-site product usage and health & safety training and arrange issue of relevant certification 
  5. Fully complete all required paperwork, obtaining on-site authorisation where required
  6. Comply with PPE & work-wear requirements
  7. Company vehicle to be maintained in line with policy requirements
  8. Meet agreed targets & performance levels as set by Operations Manager
  9. Feedback to Operations Manager any improvement areas in terms of product proposition and/or service deliverable that will improve the business process
