Lighting Product Engineer

Office Based with some UK customer travel

Candidate Requirements

• HND / Degree
• Electronic and Electrical competence
• Knowledge of LED lighting design considerations (e.g. power, thermals, aesthetics etc.)
• Familiarity with major lighting control protocols
• Basic understanding of display technologies
• Self-motivated to enhance own technical development
• Ability to undertake small hand assembly/prototype work. Soldering etc.
• Ability to interpret client technical information and create drawings/technical data

Job brief

• Support Sales team with technical queries
• Answer customer queries
• Help define appropriate solution given a customer brief
• Recommend stocking profiles based upon perceived market demand
• Liaise with Marketing and Management to produce marketing collateral/ product data briefs
