As part of our on-going expansion, we are looking to recruit a PreContract Engineer within our Sales/Estimating Department.

The role is responsible for the management of enquiries through the tender stage, including preparing estimates and other bid information including submitting of quotations, follow up and negotiation to order placement.

The position requires attendance at clients meetings and so a smart appearance and approachable personality would be necessary along with excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate would have experience of working with structural steelwork and have knowledge of the construction sector. Good maths and IT skills would also be required.

Good product knowledge would be advantageous although training could be provided for the right candidate.
